Product Description
- Longer Cycle Life: Offers up to 20 times longer cycle life and five times longer float/calendar life than a lead acid battery, helping to minimize replacement cost and reduce the total cost of ownership.
- Lighter Weight: About 40% of the weight of a comparable lead acid battery. A 'drop-in' replacement for lead acid batteries.
- Higher Power: Delivers twice the power of lead acid batteries, even high discharge rate, while maintaining high energy capacity.
- Wider Temperature Range: -20 C~60 C
- Superior Safety: Lithium Iron Phosphate chemistry eliminates the risk of explosion or combustion due to high impact, overcharging or short circuit situations.
- Increased Flexibility: Modular design enables deployment in series and in parallel.
Parallel connection :
Several Leadyo batteries can be mounted in parallel to increase the power capacity of the system. If batteries are mounted in parallel, the voltage does not change, but the current doubles. Example: 4PCS 25.6V 100Ah batteries together result in a capacity of 400Ah with a system voltage of 25.6V. The continuous discharge current can be increased to 200-300A. The peak discharge current remains limited to 500A.
Series connection :
2PCS identical Smart-Pro batteries can be connected in series to increase the voltage of the systemIncrease48V.When the batteries are connected in series, the current capacities and the discharge current remain identical, but the system voltage is additive. Setting a charging voltage of 57.6V and a maintenance voltage below 54.4V. Example: 2pcs 25.6V 100Ah Smart-Pro together result in a capacity of 100Ah with a system voltage of 51.2V. Nothing changes in terms of power output or consumption.
Operating and Storage Temperature Range :
LiFePO4 batteries can be stored in temperatures of -10°F(-20°C)to 100°F (+38°C). It is recommended they not be charged and discharged at temperatures below 0°F (-18°C) It is recommended that the negative terminals be disconnected for winter or long-term storage so there is no chance of draining the batteries while in storage. Complete discharge of LiFePO4 batteries for an extended period of time will likely damage the cells. LiFePO4 batteries should be recharged every 6 months.
Charging :
For the Bulk/Absorption stage, the ideal voltage is 28.8V ± .05V/cell. Our batteries do not require a float stage for charging, however, a float voltage of 26.8V to 27.6V can be used. Equalization is not recommended for our batteries. If equalization cannot be turned off, a maximum voltage of 28.8V is acceptable. The recommended charging amperage is 10-25A continuous (.2C to MAX .5C). Note: It is recommended that batteries wired in series be
